Studio Review: 2025

Three years in, and we're just getting started.

When we launched Senso Studio in 2022, the goal was straightforward: build a studio that creates work worth talking about. No agency theatrics, no empty promises, just strategic thinking paired with bold execution for brands ready to move forward.

2025 proved we're on the right path.

The Year in Numbers

Revenue grew 1.4x from 2024. Not the exponential hockey-stick growth Silicon Valley loves to romanticise, but steady, intentional momentum built on delivering real value to clients who return and refer.

28 studio projects across strategy, brand, product, and systems. Each one distinct, each one pushing us to think differently about what's possible when clarity meets creativity.

How We Work

We've always believed that one engagement model doesn't fit every brand's reality. Some need defined projects. Others need ongoing support. A few want true partnership. 2025 confirmed this thinking.

Keystone became our foundation. Defined projects with clear scope, delivered with precision. Most brands come to us knowing what they need: a rebrand, a product launch, a strategic repositioning. Keystone gives them exactly that, no retainer drift, no scope creep, no endless revisions. The structure benefits everyone. Clients get predictability, we deliver better work because of it.

Nexus found its rhythm. Ongoing support for brands that need a consistent creative and strategic partner. Not every challenge fits into a tidy project scope. Markets shift, opportunities emerge, competitors make moves. Nexus clients value having us embedded in their thinking, ready to respond when it matters.

Momentum proved essential. Fast-moving brands don't always have the luxury of a twelve-week timeline. Sometimes you need rapid execution on a tight deadline without sacrificing quality. We built Momentum for exactly these moments, and it resonated with brands who needed to move quickly.

Ember remained rare, but valuable. Long-term venture partnerships where we're not just service providers but invested partners. These relationships demand more, they're deeper commitments built on shared risk and shared success. We're selective here, but when the fit is right, the potential is significant.

Beyond client work, we evolved our thinking around Labs and Ventures. Labs became our space for building internal tools and systems that solve problems we kept encountering. Some stay internal, others become products we share. Ventures pushes further, exploring our own business ideas outside client work. It's early, but treating the studio as more than just a service business opens possibilities we're excited to explore.

What Worked

eCommerce found us. For years, we turned down eCommerce projects, convinced they weren't the right fit. 2025 proved otherwise. These brands move fast, think commercially, and value work that drives genuine business outcomes. They need strategy, brand, product, and systems working together seamlessly. Turning them away made no sense. The sector became our largest this year, and the work has been some of our strongest.

Strategic foundations created better outcomes. The projects where we led with deep strategic thinking consistently outperformed those where we didn't. Brands that invest time in getting positioning, messaging, and direction right before jumping into execution see better results. It sounds obvious, yet it's remarkable how often brands want to skip this phase.

Clear engagement models reduced friction. Defining how we work upfront, whether Keystone, Nexus, Momentum, or Ember, created clarity for prospects and clients. No confusion about what they're getting, no misaligned expectations. Just honest conversation about what model fits their situation best.

What We Learned

Not every brief deserves a yes. The best work comes from the right partnerships. We're more selective now about who we work with and why. Some brands aren't ready for the work we do. Others want a different kind of relationship than we offer. That's fine. Being honest about fit makes everything better: the work, the relationships, the outcomes.

Different brands need different models. Some prospects arrive knowing they need Keystone. Others think they want a defined project when they actually need Nexus. Part of our job is helping them understand which model serves them best. It's not about upselling, it's about setting up partnerships that actually work.

Remote work requires intention. Working across the UK, Europe, and Middle East taught us that location matters less than clarity. Clear briefs, structured workflows, and honest communication matter more than any office space ever could. The right tools help, but culture and process matter more.

Labs and Ventures need protection. It's easy to let client work consume everything. Building internal tools and exploring our own ideas requires deliberate space. We're still learning how to balance service work with building our own things, but creating that separation matters if we want both to succeed.

Looking Forward

At our core, we're still a brand design studio. That hasn't changed. Strategy, brand, product, and systems for ambitious companies remain our focus. But how we engage with brands, and what we build beyond client work, continues to evolve.

The studio has momentum. We're working with brands who value clarity over complexity, and we're delivering work that creates genuine commercial impact. Revenue is growing, client relationships are deepening, and the work itself keeps getting better.

But we're not interested in growth for growth's sake. The aim is to build a studio that does exceptional work for clients who appreciate it and allows us to keep pushing boundaries on what brand design can achieve.

Three years in, we're still evolving. Still learning. Still building for what comes next.

If you're working on something ambitious and want a partner who'll challenge you to think bigger, we should talk.
